Come Fish With Us...
Ak Wild River Adventures is here to provide
you access to some of Alaska's best rivers and
outdoor opportunities. We are Veteran Owned and
we love to serve those that served for us!
We're locally owned and operated by our guides.
Because we have floated and fished these rivers
for over 15 years, we are the most experienced
guides in the area. As year-round, local residents
we're always in touch with the local fisheries.
We are confident that you'll enjoy beautiful
Willow Alaska! Our headquarters is situated just
5 minutes from the confluence of the Willow
Creek and the Big Susitna River. Strategically
located to enable a multitude of floating options
including over a dozen rivers and hundreds of
river miles we can cover from our back yard.
Ask us about our cabin and kayak rentals too!
World Class Fishing!!
Our experienced guides can float you into the hard to reach spots using our top quality river rafts. We know the timing and habits of the local native Rainbow Trout, Arctic Grayling, Dolly Varden, as well as 4 of the 5 species of Pacific Salmon. We provide all fly fishing equipment and you're welcome to bring your own gear as well. There's also dozens
of local lakes and canoe trails to explore right
here.
The Willow area also hosts many opportunities
for hiking and mountain biking. For the
alpine adventure seekers, we are conveniently
located at the base of Hatcher Pass in the
Talkeetna mountain range. And if the weather is
right you could also get a glimpse of Denali, the
highest peak in North America.

Adventure Awaits
Wildlife
Many varieties of Alaskan wildlife have been spotted on our guided floats and fishing adventures. Moose, bear, and eagle regularly visit our riverbanks, so keep your camera handy! Adventure can be found around any bend of the scenic rivers we float!
Gear and Weather
Expect temps to be cooler on the river. We suggest you layer or bring a set of warm clothes just in case. Unexpected changes in weather are common when floating. Rain gear, sunscreen, and insect repellent are highly recommended, as are comfy waders and waterproof boots. If needed, we can provide hip waders in some of the more common sizes. We will supply life jackets and all necessary fishing gear, although you are more than welcome to bring your favorite fly rod.
We have been floating and fishing these beautiful waters since 2004, and we are confident that we can show you and your company an Alaskan experience to remember.
